Thereafter...

There was WOMAD ... The stink of poseurs scatter; the stench of quixotism falter! Evocative of Berlin's Carnival of Culture, with none so whatever provocative.

Fortunately I had complimentary tickets. The whole atmosphere had the brand of pretence etched on it. Everything, starting from the accents, the dressing, the stalls on display, the ridiculous Korean woman hollering?!! It felt as though a a rich man decided to throw a party at his mansion perched on top of a hill separated from the hoi polloi.

If music was the attraction of WOMAD, according to past success, and since WOMAD has been around for some years, it must be due to the music isn't it? Not Quite.

Or perhaps Friday was just lukewarm... though it was fun lying on the slopping grass patch, with the stage at the foreground, and the white imposing mansion at the background.

And then there was IMF. Plain boring till the last day, where there was a Grand Extravaganza at the Esplanade. Honestly, it was impressive. Other than that, I collected my $400 and swept my backside off.

Then there hibernated for goodness knows how long.

and thereafter ... Just KTV!

Shaz, looking proud with his birthday presents. A CK one cologne and *ahem* Paris Hilton for MEN. Belted out tons of regular vocal acrobatic songs... god knows how much my vocal cords have expanded horizontally.

The Elusive French Stall

Hidden at the tail of Little India Road, the elusive French Stall (note not restaurant) was finally discovered!! Price was amazingly economical, taste was superb. $14.80 for a set meal, it totally beats Cafe Cartel, Kenny Rogers, Billy Bombers and all the Western food shit restaurants flat. In fact, what I noticed was that the seasoning they used did not overly relied on salt or MSG, it tasted like a unique meal with special upper notes. Definitely worth many further visits.

And the most DISGUSTING arrangement of Paganini's 24th Caprice, by none other than Weber.
The opening is so cheesy.. this one really made me sick.
