Jevonhari's Window

Here are the rules:

Rule 1: List 5 weird or random things about myself. Reader's beware you're in for a scare... haha nothing as disgusting as jevon's but certainly controversial.

1) Contrary to Jevon's fetish of cutting his toe nails clean and proper... I have a bad habit of NOT cutting my toe nails, because of my laziness, thinking that I can easily conceal the sight of ugly toenails by stuffing them in my shoes. BUT but but...the tides have changed, as recently my classmate has noticed my unsightly toenails. As I'm lazy to wear socks to school, coupled with the convenience of just wearing Slip-ons, my ugly toe-nails have all been exposed! And the sight has really been made worse by the abnormal growth of the big toe (Scientific term: Hallux Valgus). It's curved to the side and the entire big toenail looks disproportionate to it. There was once where some of my other toe nails were disfigured after some rough ice-skating and a mismatch of the ice skates size, that resulted in mild haematoma to some toe nails. It turned red, then dark crimson, till my NS friend told me that I had to peel it off before the new nail would grow out.. and thank goodness my toe nails have grown back properly again. Another horrid thing that I have observed is the thick layer of corn that have accumulated on the joints of the toe. It's rough to the touch, and if I don't do something about it, like adding moisture or something, it will look like crocodile hide soon.

2) Recently. I've noticed that I've became very fussy with food.. not that I will reject the food outright and not eat it, but I'd eat it with much difficulty. I feel that it has something to do with my dad's buying of disgusting packed lunch/dinner. I mean he would just ask me : Noodles or Rice? Although it seems like a choice, but I would already know what he would buy, like for example, if it were noodles, it's either Hokkien Mee or Wanton Mee... if it's rice it's usually either chicken / duck rice. And somehow these local "delights" have totally disgusted my taste buds, till the after taste almost makes me wanna regurgitate it out again.

3) The Nohari's window results weren't that surprising really. I feel that yes I'm a moody person, and that it take a lot of effort nowadays to even excite or stimulate my senses. I sometimes wonder whether I've a different sense of humour? I know that sometimes I may seem aloof, but it's often that I'm tired and have nothing else to say, and not that I don't want to say anything. However, on reflection of my behaviour, I think it's more blase than aloof. And another characteristic, discovered through other means than the Nohari's window, is that I'm over dramatic. There was once in NS, where some of the dental NSF assistants wanted to watch this Ivan Heng's play (I forgot the name, but he cross dressed in it), and there was this praise phrase by a critic for the play : Murderously Funny. One of my friend commented that it was something that I'd say. I vehemently denied it. "Murderously Funny" sounds weird, it gives a strange tingling feeling like as if two mis matched alliterations ended up together. Dramatic or not, it's for you to decide. And to top that up, 100% Strawberry thought that I was from drama club. I wanna burst out laughing.

4) I don't have a sweet tooth! I like cakes (not overly chocolatey ones) Surprise surprise... Chocolates were never my favourite, I think it's sometimes disgusting.. like thick, gooey, viscuous, and it swamps up all over your teeth, and lips , leaving a dark trace of dried up cocoa powder. I certainly don't fancy Cadbury, as it matches my description above. I prefer dark chocolate because it's less sweet, and maybe with some nuts (macademia, almond or hazel). Mint chocolate is nice too - not too saccharine sweet to induce diabetes. Chocobuffets are sometimes a waste of money because you know you can't eat your fill. It's not like the typical gourmet buffet where you can stuff yourself silly and not suffer from any indigestion consequences, but it's more the kind of "If I eat any more chocolate... I can puke like a chocolate Merlion" feeling. That's called overdose of Chocolate. Ok, to cut everything short, chocolate is always cheapened when too much sugar (to make it cheaper, as cocao is expensive) has been added into it.

5) This quiz has really been rather reflective and mind probing. The last one! It's real hard! Is it this? Ok ,I really enjoy observing the kind of people around me, not only the good lookers (duh i mean everyone looks at eye candies), but also the behavoir and interaction between them and the environment. It's also fun to guess what kind of personality , or how they would speak, behave etc. I guess this habit stemmed from the past where Geylang Bahru hawker centre provided the nurturing ground for this occupational profession, like how a group of us would make a dig at someone at the expense of their sanity and humility. haha.. Now, I will recommend the Coffee Bean outside Wheellock, where it provides a vast overview of incoming pedestrians and traffic for you to gawk at.

Rule 2: List 5 ppl whom u want to do the quiz.
I'd like Khoon Wee, Lishan, Jianwei, Kenny and Weili to do the quiz.

Rule 3: Next, leave a comment "you are tagged" on their blog and ask them to read your blog for rules.
