Meet up with Inga

Today, I met up with Inga, a Tandem partner, who wanted to practise speaking English. Tandem is an exchange programm where two partners are matched based their preference of language learning. Please don't be mistaken that anyone is going to speak chinese with me, for I will probably embarass myself! And thanks to Inga's roommate, Christine, the photos are finally up.

In the morning, it was a slow walk around the places where I have not been to, before proceeding to an Asian Shop, to look for some stuff to buy for the upcoming cuisine exchange. I'm still thinking of what to prepare. What is something local in Singapore that I can prepare with ease, and something that's going to be generally acceptably palatable. The cuisine exchange is to be held at Maria's house and according to her it is going to be held simultaneously with Adam's birthday. Adam is my new classmate, while Adam and Maria were previously classmates too in A1 class.

Unfortunately, I noticed that most of the stuff in the Asian Shop was inclined towards Thai products, and so I have to start searching again. Hopefully, I can get my mother to write me a recipe and find an Asian-Chinese shop to avoid any disappointment.

After which, I went to Inga's house, where I finally uploaded the photos on the Internet, and voila, here are some of the photos which I have taken during the past few weeks. I'm afraid that I did not take any photos of my room and the house that I am staying at but rest assured that if I have anothe opportunity to use Christine's laptop again, the photos will be up the next time round.

Tonight, there will be a party, celebrating the graduation of Inga's friend, who studied Philosophy! I'm sure it is going to be smattering event, and I will be going here to see how a German party is like. So for now, enjoy the pictures that you have all been waiting for!
