AUF DEUTSCH:

Ich begeistere mich fuer das Stipendium, weil es eine sehr gute Gelegenheit ist, intensive Deutsch zu lernen.

Singapur ist leider nicht die ideale Umgebung um Deutsch zu lernen, deshalb ist es mein Traum, nach Deutschland zu geben. Ich moechte die deutsche Sprache direkt in Deutschland erleben. Außerdem bin ich noch nie in Duetschland gewesen und moechte gerne wissen, wie Deutschland eigentlich ist. Es waere wunderbar, wenn ich dadurch mein Deutsch verbessern koennte.

Warum lerne ich Deutsch? Ich will mehr ueber die deutsche Kultur lernen und natuerlich mehr deutsche Freunde kennenlernen. Aber der Hauptgrund warum ich Deutsch lerne: In meiner Meinung nach ist Deutschland beruehmt fuer seine Naturwissenschaften und seine Wissenschaftler. Ich plane Chemieingenieurwissenschaften an der Staatlichen Universitaet in Singapur (NUS) zu studieren. Ich glaube, dass Deutsch eine wichtige Sprache fuer Ingenieure ist.

Ich plane in 2006, an einem Schueleraustausch in Deutschland teilzunehmen. Vielleicht koennte ich sogar an einer deutschen Universitaet zum Beispiel an der Technische Universitaet Muenchen oder an der Technische Universitaet Berlin. Ich wuerde dann eventuell in Deutschland meinen Masterstudiengang studieren. Auch aus diesem Grund ist es fuer mich noetig Deutsch zu lernen.

Deutsch ist mir auch nuetzlich, wenn ich die Liedtexte der Klassik von Beethoven, Schumann oder Brahms verstehen will. Ihre Musik gefaellt mir sehr gut. Weil ich mich sehr aktiv fuer Deutsch und Deutschland interessiere, habe ich auch schon viele deutsche Freunde kennengelernt. Obwohl ich die meiste deutsche Pop-Musik nicht so sehr mag, hoere ich gern Musik von Soehne Mannheims und Laith Al-deen.

Deutsch interessiert mich so sehr, dass ich mich jede Woche auf die naechste Lektion in meinem Deutschkurs freue. Es gefaellt mir besonders, wenn die Lehrerin uns neue Grammatik beibringt, da ich mich damit besser ausdruecken kann. Ich will mich gut in Deutsch unterhalten koennen. Das ist mein Ziel, auf das ich hinwirken will.

I would possibly study mine in Germany master course of studies. Also for this reason it is to be learned for me necessarily German.

German is also useful me, if I want to understand the song texts of the classical period about Beethoven, Schumann or Brahms. Their music pleases me very well. Because I am interested very actively in German and Germany, I already became acquainted with many German friends. Although I do not like most German Pop music so much, I hear aluminium-deen gladly music of sons of Mannheim and Laith.

German it interests me so much that I look forward each week to the next lesson in my German German. It particularly pleases me, if the teacher teaches us new grammar, since I can express myself thereby better. I want to be able myself to maintain well into German. That is my goal, toward which I want to work.
