Hi, back again, please spare me from the torrential questions and whatnot. I can't say how my mood now is, but my brain is certainly very un-productive, have been lacklustre lately, sigh ... I hate days like this when I'm feeling so empty, lost and emotionless, like there's a feeling of nothingness...

Anyway, did anyone watch "Singapore Brainest Kid" ? Why are people complaining that it is unfair ... blah blah ... or commenting that it is a faculty where kids aren't the one feeling glamorous about winning or being on stage, but rather their own parents who (probably sign them up for it?) are the ones who are feeling the most glamorous. Like ... hey that's my clever BOY on stage answering the firing questions without any kick! Nevertheless, I watched the Finals, and felt that it was only a game. Why get so worked up over that? I was quite impressed by the kids who knew the answers to the Geography and History questions. Maths was totally facile!

But what I happened to notice and that provided an evidence that some parents were dolling up their kids for glamorous purpose was - Louise, the P6 girl from KC, was wearing a DKNY red blouse, reckoned to be over a hundred dollars. I don't feel overly appalled or anything but my observation just hit me like an "oh!?"

Now, I've got a shirt from the "University of Chicago" ... my cousin went to study there under a sponsored scholarship. Looks plain, simple but nice. He should have made it to Stanford or something or Harvard!
