Deutsch

I'm majorly BROKE this month! After spending $1000+ on a keyboard (fortunately my dad subsidised 1/2) and now with the keyboard stand, I'm broke broke broke! I should be starting the german course in September, but I still think I'd prefer French, though German and English belongs to the same language family, so I guess the grammar should be about the same. DER/DIE/DAS, sigh, why are there male/female/neutral nouns in German too? More memory work. :[

French:
Bonjour! Salut! Hello!
Comment allez-vous? Ca va? How are you?
Parle-vous anglais? Do you speak English?
Je parle anglais. I speak English.
S'il vous plait Thank you.
Au Revoir! Good bye!

hahahahahaha... ok I will stop there. [psst.. I hope I got that right.] Emil could correct me. :)

German:
Guten Tag! Good day!
Ich bin Christopher Stein. I am Christopher Stein.
Wie heiben Sie? How are you called?
Wie geht es Ihnen? How are you?
Es geht mir gut. Danke, und Sie? I am well. Thank you, and you?
Entschuldigen Sie Excuse me.
Wie bitte. Pardon?
Auf Wiedersehen! Good bye!

hahahaha... I hope I got that right too. The words look like a whole lot of nonsense. Ausdnzw Wjfhipeo BUbfeus fjeo!!
