It was not much of an exciting week, except that I nearly went for cover (as a cover medic), but later they decided that we happened to take too much space (I had to squeeze with other people into the obsolete rover with 2 other signallers *so glam*) I don't suppose they even 'indented' for medics (indent makes medics sound like objects), all the officers had a quizzical look on their faces when I asked them at what time I had to prepare myself.
Speaking of which, I'm quite amused the way people here turned a noun (arrow) into a verb. *wunderful* Like for example, "I always so suay one lor, always kena 'arrow(ed)' to do all the sai kang" Interesting?
I heard from 2 sources, that I ought to get a 'combat allowance' of $150, which is $50 more than the usual amount others get, but why aren't I getting the $150? Ha, or maybe I haven't checked my bank account book yet...but i know for sure how much i spent this month. *chuckles*
I didn't know people who committed crimes and sent to DB (Detention barracks), weren't allowed to wear underwears(!), lest they try to strangle themselves? hang themselves? gag themselves?? gag others??? No Metal spectacles, and hence only plastic frames are allowed, to curtail any suicidal attempts of slashing their wrists. It's sounds bad to be the warens-in-charge there, be it the medic, MO or the MP, should I despise or pity them? ; being in DB just -sucks-
