Quote of the day:
"You look quite english ... erm no I mean westernised" - My friend's response to my inability in playing International Chess.

It was an extremely busy day - finally - I've been longing for this day! I hate the times when I stare at the clock, and it's faceless stare look back at me. In fact,I love to be busy, I love the rush of doing administrative stuff, I love the way everything, every document, everything I type out goes along smoothly.

*fascination*

Yeah, I had to do Medical Board today, and got loads of typing and printing to do - but i love it anyway. These few days, I've been quite sastified with myself, as people whom I have advised on their post medical examination, came looking for me to thank me. :)
I happen to be helping this Warrant Officer upgrade his Pes Status, he seemed very happy after being upgraded! (Yes, many of you would simply dread the thought of that) He even wanted to treat us (Qin An and I) for lunch. He said that he has been waiting for the medical proceedings for 5 years! And boy was he so anxious in getting to CMPB and all; even volunteered to help me indent a vehicle. *chuckles*

However, another moron choose to irritate me.

Previously:
"When's my medical board? When am I going to downgrade?!!"
"That depends, let me check the date. Hold on a sec..."
"Oh, you name is Kel-vin Chia?"
"No, It's Cal-vin!" -in a very horrified tone- -eyes rolling-

Yeah, heck, what's the big deal? You needn't have shown me that sort of attitude.

And today, @12:15
"Yeah.. and you told me to be here at 11:55. I came and I couldn't find you.." -in a very accursed tone-
"Look, it's not my fault. I got the instructions from the driver and here it is."
"But if you told me 12:15, I could have taken my lunch."
"Well, then go to the canteen and get a light snack or something?"
"Can I go and take my lunch now?"
"You may, but if the driver leaves without you, I am NOT going to bear the consequences."

I stormed out of the medical centre to get my stuff in the bunk. He looked away in despair. :)
And later in the vehicle, he apologised for being so tactless. :)

Ahh, just the kind of things people will do, when they really need help.

That's just humans.
